Scalpel blade holder handle
Offering excellent handling as well as intuitive assembly and disassembly of the blades , this scalpel handle is available in two models:
Handle No. 3 is compatible with sterile scalpel blades No. 6, 9, 10, 11, 11P, E11, 12, 12D, 13, 14, 15, 15A, 15C, 15T, 16, 40
Handle No. 4 is compatible with sterile scalpel blades No. 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 22A, 23, 24, 25, 25A, 26, 27, 36.
TIPS FOR ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY OF BLADES
To attach a standard blade to a wide or narrow tip handle:
- grasp the blade with pliers or any other similar instrument, avoiding contact with the cutting edge.
- hold the handle with the other hand with the frame facing up.
- position the blade opening on the end of the handle and engage the grooves.
- slide the blade until it clicks into position.
- To facilitate assembly, bend (twist while lowering) the blade slightly while sliding it over the handle.
To remove the blade:
- grasp the blade with pean forceps or any other similar instrument.
- lift the base of the blade with the tip of the index finger, avoiding contact with the cutting edge, and carefully remove it from the handle.
