Fast healing finger bandages - Urgo

Their hydrocolloid technology creates a moist environment around the wound, which is conducive to rapid healing. Like a second skin, URGO Rapid Healing dressings protect the wound and relieve there pain discreetly. Thanks to their adapted shape, they stay in place for several days and are removed painlessly.

Instructions for use:

Must be applied by an adult for those under 16.

  1. Clean and disinfect the wound and its surroundings with an antiseptic solution (alcohol-free). Stop any bleeding and dry with a sterile compress.
  2. Open the sachet, take out the dressing. Warm the dressing between your hands to make it more conformable.
  3. Remove the first protective flap without touching the central adhesive part of the dressing and place the hydrocolloid dressing centered on the wound. The wound must be completely covered by the hydrocolloid compress (central part cream to ochre in color).
  4. Remove the second wing, carefully smoothing and pressing the edges of the dressing to increase adhesion.

The dressing should not be left in place for more than 2-3 days; it should be removed if it has not come off by itself. Renew the dressing according to the instructions for use. The average treatment duration is 6-8 days.

Precautions:

  • Do not stretch the dressing when applying; do not cut
  • Single-use dressing, do not reposition the dressing once applied and do not reuse the same dressing (risk of infection).
  • If there is sticky hydrocolloid residue on the skin, soaking in water is recommended: the adhesive will swell, lose its adhesiveness and come off.
  • Do not apply a dressing or remove a dressing already applied and consult a doctor:

– in case of worsening of the wound or absence of improvement within 6 days of treatment,

– if there are signs of infection (redness, pain, heat, swelling around the wound, pus, etc.)

– In case of foreign bodies in the wound, significant bleeding, bite, prick with a sharp and/or dirty object

– or in case of doubt or discomfort.

  • Diabetic patients are advised to use hydrocolloid dressings only under medical or nursing supervision.
  • For any facial wound, it is recommended for aesthetic reasons to seek medical advice.
  • Do not use these dressings for more than 30 consecutive days.
  • Store dressings in their original box.
  • Do not use after the expiration date (indicated on the box and sachet)

Contraindications:

  • Contraindicated on infected wounds, burns, on wounds at risk of superinfection (in particular wounds older than 24 hours).
  • Contraindicated for arteritic foot.
  • Contraindicated for infected diabetic foot.

Composition :
Hydrocolloid compress forming a dermo-reconstituting gel that promotes healing and relieves pain. Transparent waterproof support. Shape adapted for optimal hold and protection.

Formats: 8 dressings (20 x 72 mm)
